Wellness Care and Preventative Medicine
Since pets age approximately seven times faster than humans do, (that’s three and a half human years for every six pet months!), we recommend wellness exams for your pets every six months. Biannual exams allow insight into your pet’s internal changes that may not be obvious to the untrained eye.
Examining your pet every six months may also help identify developing problems before they become life threatening, thus increasing your pet’s quality of the life. A lot of changes can occur in six months, and regular exams is the first step in preventing many life-threatening illnesses.
Microchipping your pet makes it easier for them to be found if they ever run away or become lost. Microchips are injected just under the skin, where it remains safely for life. When scanned, the microchip reveals a one-of-a-kind identification number, which is tied to your contact information. We recommend microchipping for all pets.
