Kate Dial, CVT
Kate joined the AHS team in Oct of 2010. Originally from W. Michigan, Kate moved to Phoenix almost 2 years ago. She was a 4.0 student, class rep and ambassador at Anthem College. She has obtained her associates degree in April of 2012 for her CVT. Kate completed her Veterinary Nutritional Advocacy (VNA) in May of 2011.
She has 2 cats and an ever-changing array of rescue dogs she fosters for “Poverty’s Pets.” Just in the last year she has placed 8 dogs into their new forever homes.
Barbara Hendry, CVT
Barbara has been working in the veterinary field since 2013. She attended Pierpont Community & Technical Collage in Fairmont, WV and graduated in May 2013 with an A.A.S. in veterinary technology. She passed her VTNE in August of 2013 and became an RVT in WV. She moved to Arizona in 2014 and became a CVT in the winter of 2014.
She has always loved animals and can’t imagine life without them. She loves to spend time with her family and 2 rescue dogs; Loula her Corgi/Heeler Mix and Titus her Great Dane. *Who rescued who*
Hi I’m Madison I am a certified Vet Assistant and I came to Animal health services in early 2016. I got my certification at Carrington College and also have an Associates degree from Paradise Valley Community College. I have a 5 year old Yorkie-Chihuahua mix also known as a Chorkie named Gus. I got him when he was just 8 weeks old and he’s been my buddy ever since. He is super active and loves to play frisbee. I have always had a love for animals and being in the Veterinary field is always what I have aspired to do as a career. It is a field with many different aspects of opportunity and It is always a joy to come to work and help people and the 4 legged family members that they love. 🙂
Nancy has been a member of the AHS team since September of 2004, and has worked in the veterinary field for almost 6 years. Along with her husband and son, she shares her home with 1 dog, 1 cat, a desert tortoise, and some fish. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and reading with her son. Nancy has always wanted to work with animals, and she left a career of over 22 years to pursue her dream. She enjoys the challenges that come with the job, and is currently pursuing her CVT license.
We welcomed Pam to the Animal Health Services team in May of 2008. Her family includes her husband, her son and her 2 dogs, Shelby and Mindy. She is originally from San Diego, and enjoys going back to visit friends and family there. She loves spending time with her family going to the beach, taking the boat out to the lake and just enjoying the water, sun and fun that Arizona summers bring.
Adrimar started working in the veterinary field at the age of 16 in a spay/neuter clinic. She alternated working there and a vet clinic for over 7 years as a veterinary technician. In 2012 she was welcomed at Animal Health Services as an emergency technician and inventory control officer. This year (2015) she is celebrating being a technician for 10 years. She has 3 amazing dogs, Rocko, Mayhem and Gronk. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Growing up she played the violin for 8 years.
Paige obtained her Associates Degree in 2013 in animal science from Anthem College. She will soon be sitting for her board exams to obtain her CVT certification. Emergency medicine is her passion and she is always striving to give the best care possible to the patients. Paige is also a part time groom at an eventing show barn, Carefree Farms.
Animals have always been a passion of Paige’s and she believes it is our job to give them the voice they lack, but deserve. She has 2 dogs; a 3yr old GSH named “Serenity” who is the princess of the house and “Pickles,” an eight month old mix breed who was Paige’s patient prior to adoption. She is now the boss of the house. She also has an 11 yr old off the track thoroughbred named “Charlie.” He was her jumper but is now retired enjoying lazy days.
Raina is a veterinary technician that graduated from Carrington College in 2015. She fell in love with the field of veterinary medicine since growing up with animals. Pets have always held a soft spot in her heart. She always knew doing something to help them was what she wanted to do for her career. She has loved every experience with her school and work.
She has 2 dogs, Sage and Titan, and a cat named Max. Her pets have encouraged her to work hard to provide a better life for them. She absolutely loves what she does and wants to get better and better in the veterinary field of work.
Lauren is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with Animal Health Services since 2015. She started here as a kennel tech, and has worked her way up in the Urgent Care department. She is now attending school to earn her degree in veterinary technology and become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Lauren has previous experience in large animals from working with horse trainers and equine dentists, and has three dogs of her own named Shadow, Nala, and Waffles. She someday hopes to open a rescue to rehabilitate dogs who have been deemed aggressive and need some extra time, love, and care before being able to find a forever home.
Paige Fredrickson has been working in the veterinary industry since 2014. She attended Carrington College and obtained her Veterinary Assistant certificate. She has two dogs, Jimmy her Pitbull and Lambeau her Lab Mix.
Jessica began working at Animal Health Services in January 2016 and graduated from Carrington College Veterinary Assisting program in March 2016. In April, she transferred into our laboratory and is now the full-time Laboratory Technician. Currently attending DeVry University to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science she loves all kinds of animals including her 2 dogs and cat. Married for 4 years she has 4 amazing children.
Evy Diauto, Kennel Technician
Evy joined the AHS team in November 2016. She is an avid pet lover with dreams of working in the field of animal medicine, a dream she never grew out of. She enjoys meeting new pets and their owners and spending lots of time with her own furry critters. On top of helping animals out the best she can, Evy is going to school to get a degree as a Veterinary Technician. She also enjoys riding horses and running with her dogs.
Ashley Hanmer, Kennel Technician
Ashley began working at Animal Health Services in 2016. She is an avid pet lover and owner of a 3 year old Pitbull named Kobe like Kobe Bryant, the basketball player. After working with boarding facilities for 2 years, she joined AHS to eventually become a Vet Technician. Originally from Wisconsin, Ashley rides horses, likes football and loves hiking Arizona mountains. Her favorite trail is Black Mountain in Cave Creek.

Caylnn joined the Animal Health Services team in 2016 having been working in the veterinary field for Caylnn joined the Animal Health Services team in 2016 having been working in the veterinary field for the past decade. Born and raised in Arizona she recently moved back after 3 years in Georgia. Recently married to her best friend and former US Marine Officer in the Virgin Islands.
She has experience in exotic animals having been a former zookeeper-in-training allowing her to get experience in reptiles, marsupials, birds, rodents & a variety of non fish aquatics.
She holds a degree in Wildlife Forestry Conservation from Penn Foster and is currently completing her certified Veterinary Technology degree by the beginning of 2017 with the desire to work for exotic zoos.
She has taken the Emergency Animal Medical Technician class with the “Heroes of Phoenix” from Animal Planet TV. She has a Shiba Inu mix named “Sirena”, who is obsessed with piggy toys and a Giant Day Gecko named “Gary”.
