Rob Graham, CVT – Practice Manager
Rob has worked in the veterinary medicine industry for over 25 years. He started cleaning cages at an emergency clinic when he was 15 years old. He also worked as a veterinary technician in several private practices here in the valley and even worked at a neurological center operating a CT scanner and assisting with various neurological work-ups. He became certified as a veterinary technician during this time frame. Rob made the transition from technician to practice manager and has been doing this for the past 12 years. Rob and his wife live in Northwest Phoenix and have raised 6 children between the two of them. They have 1 dog, 1 cat, a snake, and some fish. As a family they enjoy camping, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. Rob joined the Animal Health Services team in March 2006, bringing with him professionalism, excellent customer service, and great management techniques. Nikki Binns – Assistant Manager
Nikki has worked in the veterinary field since 1993, and enjoys working in all areas of the hospital. With a goal of providing exceptional customer service and professionalism, she joined the Animal Health Services team in March of 2005 and quickly became part of the management team. Nikki has taken numerous accounting, human resource, and veterinary management classes and has attended many veterinary conferences enabling her to successfully help manage many areas of the hospital. Originally from Southern California she moved to Desert Hills, Arizona with her husband and 2 children in 2002. As a family they enjoy camping, fishing, horseback riding, softball, and spending time with their 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses and 2 goats.
Gina Monell – Assistant Manager
Gina started in the animal health industry in 1985, and joined the Animal Health Services team in 1998. She thinks our clients and their pets are the best, and it gives her great joy to build bonds with them. Gina says it feels like coming to fun rather than to work. Gina and her husband share three children, 3 grandchildren (so far), 2 dogs “Hannah” and “Quigley”, a parrot named “Groucho”, and numerous cows and chickens. In her spare time she likes to enjoy her pets, and likes to go camping.
Dr. Brian Ashmore – Doctor’s Manager
Dr. Ashmore has been happily helping his clients and patients at Animal Health Services since 2005. He joined the AHS team a few months before the move to our state of the art building so he appreciates this great hospital’s roots. He graduated from Colorado State University in 2000 and has been practicing ever since in the state of Arizona, where he was born and raised.
His passion for dentistry in veterinary medicine has led him to learn many advanced periodontal treatments including performing root canals. He loves how quickly he can improve the health of a pet in a short time by correcting periodontal disease in a dog or cat. The last several years his passion and desire to become an exceptional doctor for his feline patients has been driving his educational pursuits. He was the driving force behind AHS being certified as a Cat-Friendly Practice so that the kitties at AHS receive exceptional care and feel as stress free as possible.
Dr. Ashmore is married and has two young children whom he adores. When he finds time he enjoys fishing at Lee’s Ferry and loves to hike in the valley. He relaxes by playing the piano or spending time outside working on his landscape.
Adriana Hameed – Urgent Care Manager
Adriana has over 15+ years in the veterinary field. She attended and graduated from Carrington College for her Veterinary Assistant Program Certification. She completed her Associates Degree for Veterinary Technician at Anthem College. She was the 2013 NAVTA Student Chapter President.
She is certified for Oncura Ultrasound Technician, Hill’s Pet Nutrition Advocate, The Iv San Bernard Science of Skin Dermatology Learning Series and completed the VMG Management Program. She is currently the Urgent Care Manager and also responsible for the K9 Blood Buddies Program and Animal Health Services Reproduction Center.
She shares her home with 8 dogs and 2 cats; all rescue pets! Three of the dogs are Parvo survivors and they are all her life.
Michelle “Chelle” Bingham – Pet Insurance Advocate/Hills Pet Nutritionist
Michelle “Chelle” Bingham has been with Animal Health Services since August 2013. She has held many job titles within the office, but was recently promoted to our “Pet Insurance Advocate” and “Hills Pet Nutritionist”. She is also our “Lost & Found Pet Coordinator” for local pets in the area.
Originally from Indiana, she moved to Arizona in 2008 ONLY for the Arizona sunshine and warm temps!
She has been a cat owner since she was a little girl and all of her life she knew she wanted to work with animals. In 2013 she started her own pet sitting business, as well as joined our AHS team. She is known around the office as “The Cat Lady”, as she has six Siamese kitties of her own – “CoCo”, “Mailee”, “Iggy”, “Bella”, “Nieko” and “Zia”. She obviously has a soft spot for Siamese kitties!
She is passionate about helping Lost and Found animals get back to their owners, as well as finding animals in need, a new home or foster.
